HiPP UK Comfort Ingredients as Clean as They Come

Prebiotics: The lactose-derived prebiotics in HiPP Comfort UK are known as galactooligosaccharides (GOS). They are included to help positively alter gut microflora.

Whey Hydrolyzate: HiPP Comfort milk contains hydrolyzed whey proteins, which means that intact milk proteins are broken down into smaller, more easily digestible pieces.

Low-Lactose: One of the key features of HiPP Comfort ingredients is that it has less lactose than typical formulas, which can be beneficial for infants with lactose sensitivities.

What to Consider About HiPP Comfort Formula UK

Unlike HiPP Comfort UK, the German recipe for this formula also includes probiotics. But both versions have extensively hydrolyzed proteins, beta-palmitate, Metafolin, and prebiotics.

HiPP Comfort milk is classified as a Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP), so it’s recommended that it only be used on the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.

This formula is not suitable for babies with a cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) or lactose intolerance.

What You Can Expect With Your Order of HiPP UK Comfort Formula

At Baby Milk Bar, we’ve partnered with HiPP to get you the latest batches of formula with long expiration dates of 6 months into the future or more, delivering lasting freshness and product authenticity.

Every box of HiPP Comfort special baby formula holds 800g of formula powder and comes with a 4.3g scoop for preparation. One box of HiPP Comfort UK prepares roughly 42 five-ounce bottles for your baby.

Preparation +

Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the feeding bottle, teat, and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes._Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50° C* / 104-122° F

Add the desired amount of boiled water (see Table) to bottle.

Measure the recommended amount of formula powder (see Table). Level the formula on the measuring spoon and add the powder to the water.

Close the bottle, and shake thoroughly.

Cool to a drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Remember to test the temperature before feeding your baby.

In order not to damage the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), please do not prepare the formula with water that's too hot.

Follow the instructions precisely when preparing infant milk formula. Improper preparation or storage can lead to health problems. Prepare the formula fresh before every feeding and offer it to your baby immediately. Do not reuse the remains of the prepared formula. Clean the bottle, teat, and ring thoroughly. Seal the opened bag tightly after use. Store dry and at room temperature, and use within 3 weeks after opening. Do not heat baby formula in the microwave (risk of scalding).

One level scoop of HiPP Comfort serves approximately 4.3g.

Important Notes

Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Please talk to your pediatrician before introducing your baby to infant formula. Keep in mind that special formulas, like HiPP Comfrot, should only be used under medical supervision.

HiPP Comfort is suitable from birth on as a complete source of nutrition until 6 months of age. After 6 months, you can continue using this formula as a part of a mixed weaning diet.

Do not use if your baby has a diagnosed or suspected cow's milk protein allergy. With HiPP Comfort, your baby should feel better within a few days. If symptoms do not improve, please speak to your baby's doctor.

Like breast milk, all infant milk formula contains carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged teeth contact with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay and thus to health problems. Do not let your child suck the bottle permanently and change to cup-feeding as soon as possible HiPP Comfort is a food for special medical purposes and should only be consumed under medical supervision. Please ask for advice from your healthcare professional before use.

How long does the prepared formula last? + -

Once you’ve prepared a bottle of formula, it can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 hours or in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. After these time periods, any leftover formula should be discarded. The safest practice is to always prepare fresh formula for your baby instead of making bottles in advance.

What is the formula return policy at Baby Milk Bar? + -

Due to the sensitive nature of baby formula, we cannot accept returns as this would compromise the safety and authenticity of our products. If you have an issue with your order, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Are European formulas organic? + -

The majority of our products are certified organic; however, some specialty formulas, such as HiPP Comfort, HiPP HA, and HiPP Anti-Reflux, are non-organic due to their specific processing requirements.

Additionally, HiPP Dutch and German formulas for toddlers aged 12 months and older are also non-organic because they are fortified with extra vitamins and minerals that are not classified as 'essential nutrients' by law.

Furthermore, Nannycare and both Kendamil Classic and Kendamil Goat formulas are not organic, but they do contain natural ingredients. It's important to note that even our non-organic formulas are proudly GMO-free.
