HiPP HA Formula Stage 1 Ingredients as Clean as They Come

Hydrolyzed Whey Proteins:HiPP HA Combiotik Stage 1 is made with immune-friendly extensively hydrolyzed proteins. Essentially, cow’s milk proteins are broken down into smaller molecules with lower allergenicity that are easier for babies to tolerate.

Prebiotics:Prebiotics are dietary fibers that serve as a food source for beneficial gut bacteria. HiPP HA 1 formula includes prebiotic Galactooligosaccharides (GOS) that come from lactose. Many clinical studies suggest that GOS shares commonalities with human milk prebiotics and is advantageous for babies’ health.

Probiotics: These live microorganisms are essential to your baby’s immune function and gut health. HiPP hypoallergenic formula Stage 1 is unique because it uses L. Fermuntum probiotics cultures derived initially from breast milk.

How to prepare a HiPP baby formula safely

Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and may contain a small number of potentially harmful germs. To inhibit the growth of these germs in the prepared formula, it is crucial to follow safe preparation and handling practices. This ensures that the formula remains safe and healthy for your baby to consume.

Basic rules of hygiene

Clean the countertop and wash your hands thoroughly with soap under warm running water.
Do not prepare any raw foods at the same time.
Prepare the formula freshly before every meal and feed immediately.
Dispose of any leftovers and do not reuse them later. Do not store the prepared formula in the refrigerator.
Do not put prepared formula in bottle warmers or thermos flasks to keep it warm.
Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly right after every meal.
If you use rubber/latex teats, boil them every now and then (not necessary with silicone teats).

Preparing the bottle – the step-by-step guide

Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the feeding bottle, teat, and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes._Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50° C* / 104-122° F
Add the desired amount of boiled water (see Table) to bottle.
Measure the recommended amount of formula powder (see Table). Level the formula on the measuring spoon and add the powder to the water.
Close the bottle, and shake thoroughly.
Cool to a drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Remember to test the temperature before feeding your baby.

Tips for travelling

Pack several clean and dry bottles with pre-measured amounts of formula powder and a thermos with cold, boiled water. Prepare the formula freshly whenever necessary and feed immediately.

Safety instructions

There are instructions on every formula pack on how to correctly prepare, store and dispose of the formula: “Please follow the instructions carefully when preparing formula.” Incorrect preparation or storing the prepared bottle for a longer period of time can be harmful to your baby’s health, e.g. due to the growth of undesirable bacteria. Prepare the formula freshly before every meal, feed immediately and dispose of any leftovers. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly after every meal.

How long does the prepared formula last? + -

Once you’ve prepared a bottle of formula, it can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 hours or in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. After these time periods, any leftover formula should be discarded. The safest practice is to always prepare fresh formula for your baby instead of making bottles in advance.

What is the formula return policy at Baby Milk Bar? + -

Due to the sensitive nature of baby formula, we cannot accept returns as this would compromise the safety and authenticity of our products. If you have an issue with your order, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Are European formulas organic? + -

The majority of our products are certified organic; however, some specialty formulas, such as HiPP Comfort, HiPP HA, and HiPP Anti-Reflux, are non-organic due to their specific processing requirements.

Additionally, HiPP Dutch and German formulas for toddlers aged 12 months and older are also non-organic because they are fortified with extra vitamins and minerals that are not classified as 'essential nutrients' by law.

Furthermore, Nannycare and both Kendamil Classic and Kendamil Goat formulas are not organic, but they do contain natural ingredients. It's important to note that even our non-organic formulas are proudly GMO-free.
