HiPP HA Stage 1 is a formula with organic ingredients that is adjusted for children who are at risk of milk protein allergies. To reduce the allergenic properties of the cow’s milk protein, it is hydrolyzed (broken down into small fragments). The hydrolyzation makes it more easily digestible and your baby’s tummy can tolerate this version of the protein much better. This reduces the risk of milk protein allergy.
The ingredients of HiPP HA Stage 1 are produced under EU organic regulations, which assure safety and a high-quality standard. This formula contains natural lactic acid cultures (originally extracted from real breast milk), LCPs (Omega 3 & 6), and galacto-oligosaccharides (fibers derived from cow’s milk lactose). All of these are important for your child's development and are part of the actual breast milk nutrient composition, making this formula modeled as close to human breast milk as possible. It is suitable in combination with breastfeeding, but also for babies who are not breastfed.
HiPP HA stage 1 is appropriate from birth. Please note that HiPP HA is based on cow’s milk and therefore not appropriate for children with cow’s milk allergy or lactose intolerance.
Please note: HA-Protein diets reduce the risk of allergies. Even a low-allergen diet cannot provide absolute protection, but it reduces the risk of allergies.

With HiPP HA, you can rest assured that your baby receives all the nutrients they need in a formula that meets HiPP's strict safety and quality standards. Hipp Hypoallergenic baby formula is for milk allergy?
HiPP HA is a partially hydrolyzed formula, where the cow's milk proteins are broken down by around 86-87%. On the other hand, extensively hydrolyzed formulas are recommended for milk protein allergy, and proteins are broken down by more than 90%. It's important to note that while many babies with cow's milk protein allergy do well on this formula, it may not be suitable for all. We recommend consulting with your pediatrician to determine if HiPP HA fits your baby's specific needs.
