A2 Cow’s Milk: Regular cow’s milk typically consists of A1 and A2 beta-casein. The A1 type emerged due to a genetic mutation, as historically, cows produced only A2 milk. The base of Holle A2 Stage 2 formula is 100% organic A2 milk from special cows that naturally produce only A2-type proteins.

Lactose: This carbohydrate is naturally present in breast milk and is an important energy source in Holle Bio A2 for babies. 

Maltodextrin: Is an easily digestible carbohydrate derived from starch with low sweetness. Emerging research suggests it can help avoid intestinal distress and could enhance cognitive function.

Starch: Holle organic baby formula includes a small amount of organic starch from maize and potato starting from Stage 2. 

DHA: The algae oil in Holle cow milk delivers a plant-based source of this omega-3 fatty acid to support your baby’s brain development. 

Facilitates Improved Digestion - When A1 milk is digested, it releases a peptide (a smaller protein molecule) linked to digestive discomfort and adverse health outcomes. In contrast, A2 milk does not do this, supporting enhanced digestion compared to regular cow’s milk formula.
