A2 Cow’s Milk: Most cows produce milk with A1 beta-casein and A2 beta-casein milk proteins. In contrast, the organic milk in this Holle cow milk formula comes from specially selected cows that produce A2 milk without A1 proteins.

DHA: Holle A2 Stage 3 formula uses algae oil-derived DHA as a plant-based alternative to fish oil. It’s rich in omega-3 fatty acids for healthy brain and eye development. 

Lactose: To reflect breast milk’s composition, Holle A2 formula uses lactose to deliver energy to your baby. 

Maltodextrin: This common substitute for lactose is derived from starch and is known to be particularly easy for babies to digest.

Starch: This complex carbohydrate from maize or potato helps improve the milk’s consistency and can contribute to a feeling of fullness. 

Encourages Easier Digestion - A1 proteins can cause gastrointestinal discomfort for some infants by releasing a certain peptide (smaller protein molecule) during digestion. A2 milk does not release this peptide, possibly resulting in enhanced digestion and better overall tolerance.

Mimics Breast Milk More Closely - Compared to A1 proteins, the structure of A2 proteins is more similar to human and goat's milk, which are both A2-type. This can make A2 milk easier to digest and reduce discomforts like bloating and gas.
