Lactose: Holle formula Stage 3 uses lactose as the main carbohydrate source, which is known for being easy for babies to digest, hence its important role as a key component in breast milk.

Maltodextrin: This carbohydrate, derived from maize (corn) or potatoes, is commonly used in baby formula to support older babies’ increased energy needs. It can also help improve stool frequency, volume, and consistency due to its easy digestibility.

Starch: Holle organic baby formula contains starch as an additional carbohydrate, providing a more satisfying feed with added thickness to help keep babies fuller for longer.

DHA: This omega-3 fatty acid helps with the early development of the brain and retina. DHA can be obtained from algae or fish oil. Holle has selected algae oil as a plant-based alternative.

Holle Bio 3 contains palm oil as a source of palmitic acid. If you prefer to avoid this ingredient, Holle Goat may be a better option because it uses natural milk fats in place of palm oil.

In Holle Cow Stage 3, DHA is derived from algae instead of fish oil, making it more environmentally friendly. This may also be preferred by babies, as it removes any fishy taste.

Every box of Holle organic formula Stage 3 holds 600g of formula powder and a 4.4g scoop for preparation. With just one box of Holle Cow Stage 3, you can make approximately 31 five-ounce bottles for your little one.

Preparation +

Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 50° C / 104-122° F.

Add half of the required water to the bottle.

Fill the measuring spoon and level the formula powder on the spoon. Add the advised amount of formula to the bottle._Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.

Add the remaining water and shake thoroughly again.

Cool to a drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Remember to test the temperature before feeding your baby.

How long does the prepared formula last? + -

Once you’ve prepared a bottle of formula, it can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 hours or in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. After these time periods, any leftover formula should be discarded. The safest practice is to always prepare fresh formula for your baby instead of making bottles in advance.

Are European formulas organic? + -

The majority of our products are certified organic; however, some specialty formulas, such as HiPP Comfort, HiPP HA, and HiPP Anti-Reflux, are non-organic due to their specific processing requirements.

Additionally, HiPP Dutch and German formulas for toddlers aged 12 months and older are also non-organic because they are fortified with extra vitamins and minerals that are not classified as 'essential nutrients' by law.

Furthermore, Nannycare and both Kendamil Classic and Kendamil Goat formulas are not organic, but they do contain natural ingredients. It's important to note that even our non-organic formulas are proudly GMO-free.
